FBoy Island viewers were shocked to learn that the show wasn’t actually filmed on an island.
Hosted by Abbie Chatfield, the raunchy 10-part Binge dating series was supposed to take place on a tropical island off the coast of North Queensland.
But it has since been revealed that the show was actually shot in and around a beachside property 27 miles off the Gold Coast called Somersleys Ocean Retreat.
The privately owned boutique home is located in Casuarina, northeastern New South Wales in the Tweed Shire.
The glamorous mega-mansion features 12 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms.

But it has since been revealed that the show was actually filmed at the expensive Somersleys Ocean Retreat beach resort, 27 miles from the Gold Coast
Guests pay as much as $650 per night in the romantic escape suites.
According to the resort’s website, each bedroom has a “luxury” soaking tub and walk-in shower.
Other features include ‘curated holiday experiences’ and ‘wellness retreat’.

Originally a spa, the site was purchased in 2021 for $11.5 million.
The Somersleys brand also operates a marriage estate in the Southern Highlands of NSW, which is owned by prominent Sydney lawyer Callen O’Brien and his wife Nadine.
