Opposite the granny flat is a long greenhouse and a cobblestone shed under a canopy of green trees.
The beautiful grounds look beautiful in all seasons, with pebble-strewn walkways, manicured hedges, water features, a babbling creek and an array of colorful flora.
At the main house, the hall adjoins a formal living and dining room with hardwood floors and a large fireplace.
Back in the main house, double glass doors open to the main family room, the heart of the home with an airy kitchen, living and dining area

Ceiling-high windows allow light to flood in and overlook the veranda and entertaining terrace.
The house also has a lavish home theater and three bedrooms; the main one has a walk-in robe and private bathroom.
Owner Andrew Crowson bought the property in 2012 and spent the better part of a decade ‘terraforming’ the gardens, according to real estate.com.
He said the land was Blows Brothers Nursery and was overgrown with weeds and brambles.

The land hosted the Blows Brothers Nursery and was overgrown with weeds and blackberry bushes. Andrew’s 83-year-old mother maintains the gardens while he lives in Singapore
“When I bought the property, we dismantled all the nets and poles (from the nursery)… and made a terraform of what was here,” Andrew said.
‘We have installed fountains at the front and back, a good kilometer of hedge, a formal garden at the front and something less formal at the back, and a beautiful vegetable garden.’
Andrew’s 83-year-old mother Faye looks after the gardens while he lives in Singapore.
He has been renting the granny flat to a relative since South Australia approved the buildings for rent in a bid to make more rental properties available.
“It looks more like a contemporary apartment and anyone would love to live in it,” he said.
The Sturt Valley Road property is now on the market and the asking price is being kept secret.
