Inside Kansas City Chiefs’ White House visit: Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce greet President Biden, Rashee Rice poses with Clark Hunt’s family and ‘Big Red’ suits up!

The Kansas City Chiefs’ visit to the White House was marked by hilarious moments, memorable photos and sharp outfits from the stars of the reigning NFL champions.

After beating the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas en route to their second consecutive Super Bowl victory, Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, Travis Kelce and Co. on Friday to Washington DC for the ceremonial visit to the prestigious residence.

During the visit, Chiefs players and coach Reid were photographed at the White House in their dapper outfits. The team’s social media posted photos of the visit, with the caption: “History walks through these halls.”

The first pair of photos showed Mahomes in his blue pinstripe suit and Reid in a white shirt, red tie and blue jacket with a Chiefs logo pinned to the lapel.

Other players pictured include Trey Smith, Drue Tranquill, Charles Omenihu, Nick Bolton and Justin Reid.

The Chiefs also posted a video of cornerback Joshua Williams in the White House library, where he says, “Welcome to the White House… again,” as he pulls down his glasses and winks at the camera.

Additionally, wide receiver Rashee Rice posted photos of the visit to his Instagram. In one of his photos, he poses with Chiefs owner Clark Hunt’s wife, Tavia, and daughters Ava and Gracie.

Standing alongside the team, US President Joe Biden praised the Chiefs after another triumphant campaign.

“Back to back, I like that,” Biden joked.

“If the doubters are wondering if you can do it again – believe me, I know what that feels like,” the president said. “I don’t think anyone doubts you now.”

They will look to win their third consecutive title, having won three in the last five years

Biden also tried on a Chiefs helmet he had been given, prompting cheers and applause from the crowd. After the president concluded his remarks, he passed the microphone to Kelce, who jokingly tried to give a speech during last year’s visit.

“It’s nice to see you all again,” Kelce said. “I’m not going to lie, President Biden. They told me if I came here I would get a bag, so I’m going back to my spot.”

After clinching their third title in five years, the Chiefs will look to achieve a new feat this season: a threepeat. The champions open their 2024 campaign on September 5 on the road against the Baltimore Ravens in a rematch of the AFC Championship game.
