Inside Florida’s wild Boca Bash: Ten THOUSAND revelers take to the high seas for annual raucous party

Florida’s annual Boca Bash was in full swing this weekend as 10,000 partygoers took to the high seas for a wild party, while the drinks flowed and clothing was minimal in the waters off the coast of Florida.

On Sunday, people sat back and raged atop boats, jet skis, kayaks and paddleboards in Lake Boca Raton.

The floating party lasted all day as people took over the lake, including police and firefighters surveying the area.

Two people were arrested on Monday evening on suspicion of Boating Under the Influence, Boca news now reported.

Women in bikinis were seen all over the water and on boats drinking large amounts of alcohol. A man was also seen floating in the air, attached to a water jet pack with a phone in hand.

“Locals avoid Boca Bash, it’s a great show on the water and gets crazier every year,” one social media account noted.

Trump, Biden and American flags were seen flying high from boats during the festivities.

An overhead aerial view of the party showed the endless numbers of boats consuming the lake. A group of women in bikinis were seen lying on their stomachs on top of a long pink float in the crystal blue water.

The scenes of people dressed in swimsuits filled the event’s social media.

But there is little organization at the annual meeting near Boca Raton.

“There is no real organizer for the event,” said Boca Raton spokesman Mark Economou the Palm Beach Post. “This is just something that happens on the last Sunday in April.”

The event started as a birthday feature for Rockey Rossi in 2007, which included a performance by Nickelback. The city asked them to cancel, but the party attracted many boats.

In recent years, about 8,000 boats have ventured to the lake for the celebration.

The 2018 Boca Bash turned tragic when a 32-year-old man drowned.

“First and foremost, I want people to be safe,” said Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer. “There are plenty of ways to stay safe and still enjoy the water.”

Locals in the area weren’t too happy about the big party as they took to Facebook and posted a video of rowdy partygoers cruising on the water near a backyard.

“This has been going on since 7:30 p.m. The Boca Bash madness begins,” someone wrote on Facebook.

Another person posted serene photos of the lake, saying, “We’re leaving Lake Boca after a wonderfully peaceful visit.”

“Getting out this afternoon before Boca Bash starts where you can walk from boat to boat, it’s so packed,” she added.

Others took to social media and posted all the fun they had, such as a video showing a floating trampoline and large pool rafts while loud music played in the background.

Dozens partied in the water and climbed onto each other’s shoulders, posing for the cameras that filled the area. A slew of pool floats also joined the party, as well as dogs who joined their owners for the gathering.

The celebration lasted all day and lasted well into the night, but the dark sky did not stop people from continuing.

A video showed the lake lit up by neon lights as the music continued to play and people kept the night going.

On Monday, someone posted on X saying, “Boca Bash won, I’m so dead from yesterday.”

Another said: ‘Boca Bash- 1. Neil- 0.’

During Boca Bash, a bunch of men and bikini-clad women are seen packed onto a boat

In March, thousands of spring breakers went wild as they hit the Florida sands, and then each other, as the energetic spirits turned into brawls.

Groups of bikini-clad girls and jeering boys flocked to the packed Jacksonville beach, where women battled each other for students in booze-fueled wrestling matches that sometimes turned violent.

Florida officials this year announced plans to impose some of the toughest restrictions on Miami Beach earlier this month after two deadly shootings erupted last year.

An increased police presence was noticeable along the beach, with officers on bicycles, buggies and SUVs patrolling the area. Others were seen leading K-9s among sunbathers on the crowded sand.

There was barely a patch of open sand to be found on some stretches of Fort Lauderdale Beach, often referred to as “Spring Break Central.”
