Mia and Justin recently made headlines after she posted a controversial video of him pulling their dog Maple by the ear after a visit to a local park.
In the now-deleted video, reposted by Instagram sleuth account Dutch Mint in June, Mia can be heard laughing as Justin drags Maple to the car.
Following the post’s backlash, Mia defended Justin, while also bragging about how those who dragged her down had “helped grow her business.”
In her lengthy Instagram post, Mia began: “I find it completely absurd that I have once again become the target of ‘cancel culture’ for the most nonsensical of reasons.”
“Ironically, futile attempts to destroy my reputation inadvertently contribute to the positive trajectory of my success… It is truly laughable that they specifically target their attacks on individuals who surpass them in performance.”
‘Their mission to destroy both me and my company is unintentionally playing into my hands. As evidenced by our record sales yesterday, their actions served as a catalyst for bringing in new followers and customers.”

She also insisted that her dog Maple was not “injured” by Justin and that he led her to the car because she was eating food off the ground.
‘Maple, my beloved Goodle with an appetite for ‘garbage guts’, will devour everything in her path. “When my partner, Justin, saw her eating what appeared to be rice and meat in the park garden, he acted quickly to lead her to the car, holding her floppy ear as she was temporarily not wearing a collar,” Mia said.
‘Did it hurt her? Absolutely not. Insinuating that she is an abused dog couldn’t be further from the truth. In a hypothetically dangerous situation I would undoubtedly repeat the same course of action.’
‘After all, she was wagging her tail and was not harmed. Nevertheless, the ruthless pursuers of a false story will use every opportunity to tarnish my name. However, their efforts are futile and will not prevail. Period of time.’
She continued, “My dogs are so loved and well cared for. But the reality is that this has nothing to do with my beloved dog, it’s about taking every opportunity to swipe at me personally. An ordinary person, who works ridiculously hard and at the same time has literally minuscule followers.’

Many of Mia’s followers criticized her explanation and insisted that if her dog is difficult to control, she should be on a leash.
“I’ve never seen a dog lead by its ears, aggressive or not, that’s a bit strange,” one person wrote.
“If your dog doesn’t listen to commands in public, you should keep him on a leash or at least wearing a collar so you can be sure you won’t be wrongly labeled an animal abuser.”
Another agreed, adding, “Wait, don’t be mad because people are calling out your partner for grabbing your dog by the ear. People are concerned, dog ears are extremely sensitive. Can’t you imagine wanting someone to grab you by the ears?’
