A former McDonald’s chef has revealed where you can buy an almost exact replica of the fast food chain’s famous Big Mac sauce.
Based in Illinois Mike Haraczwho worked at the franchise until 2019, took to TikTok to reveal the secret.
He explained that you can make the seasoning at home, but if you ever want to sample the dip from the comfort of your own home, you can just run to your local Walmart.
In a clip on TikTok, the chef revealed that the supermarket chain sells a very similar product called Secret Sauce.

“I’m a former McDonald’s chef and I have your best option,” Mike said at the start of the clip, which has been viewed a whopping 372,000 times.
He noted that if you want something “store-bought” and “already prepared,” you can count on Walmart’s Great Value Secret Sauce.
Mike added that this sauce is “the closest” to the Big Mac dip “served at the restaurant.”
“This version has a little more sweetness, which probably has to do with the water activity and food preservation,” he said.
He explained that he reviewed several sauces, but that Walmart’s Secret Sauce “best replicated” the fast food restaurant’s.
The former McDonald’s chef added that the Great Value sauce is almost “identical.”
He said the seasoning, which retails for $2.08, is “the closest thing you can get at the grocery store.”
