A former McDonald’s chef has revealed how you can save money on a Big Mac by ordering a different burger, which is $2 cheaper and “better.”
Based in Illinois Mike Haraczwho worked at the franchise until 2019 took to TikTok to reveal the secrets.
He explained how you can save a few bucks by ordering a “McDouble like a Mac.”
The chef noted that the virtually identical burger is the “superior way” and has only one slice of cheese and no center bun, much like a Big Mac.

The viral video, which has more than 93,000 views to date, was captioned, “Never order another McDonald’s Big Mac again.”
While duetting with someone who makes a McDouble like a Mac, he said, “Don’t order a Big Mac, you have to order this every time.”
He explained that by buying a McDouble you can save “$2”.
“If a restaurant won’t do that for you, maybe don’t go to that restaurant, go to another restaurant,” he said.
He labeled the similar burger as “superior way.”
“The McDouble only has one slice of cheese, just like a Big Mac, there’s no middle bun, and it’s so much better and cheaper,” he added.
