I’m A Celeb’s Jill Scott reunites with close jungle pal Owen Warner in Chester

Jill Scott and Owen Warner got back together on Monday when they headed to Italian-inspired restaurant Zizzi for lunch in Chester.

The former footballer and soap star became friends when he appeared on the most recent series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! – taking first and second place respectively.

And enjoying time together again this week, the duo appeared in high spirits as they beamed into the venue, where they worked on a campaign with the group.

Jill wore high-waisted jeans and a lime green sweater and pulled her dark brown locks into a sleek high ponytail.

While Owen opted for a gray overshirt and plain white T-shirt for the outing, with black cargo pants.

In collaboration with the restaurant chain, the duo filmed a video for a new campaign with Zizzi and the charity the Mental Health Foundation.

Fittingly, former soccer champion Jill added a green ribbon pin to her ensemble, the international symbol of mental health awareness.

“Always such a laugh with @owenwarner,” Jill wrote as she shared some snaps from the day on Instagram.

The pair have gained even more recognition since appearing on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! – with Jill taking the coveted crown.

Though they have managed to stay close since moving back from Australia to the UK, keeping in touch via social media and reuniting when schedules allow.

But lately, it’s Owen’s love life that’s been making headlines — with the actor fueling speculation that he’s currently dating Gemma Donovan.

The pair are Hollyoaks co-stars, and Gemma is also the daughter of Neighbors actor and pop legend Jason Donovan.

They recently shared a series of cozy sweetheart selfies, but have yet to confirm any romance.

On April 1, Owen posted a picture of them together, captioning it “April Fools” — but the fact that they were beaming in each other’s arms made fans think it wasn’t a joke.

And now the star has joined the Donovan family on a getaway to Italy over Easter weekend.

A source told The sun“Owen appears to have received the Donovan family seal of approval after they began following him on Instagram prior to the trip.”

Owen and Jemma seemed very affectionate with each other as they posed for a selfie during their European trip, while she also snapped at him as he enjoyed a glass of wine.

Also present on the trip were Jemma’s mother Angie, her brother Zac and sister Molly – although Jason himself was absent due to a busy schedule.

Jemma joined the cast of Channel 4’s Hollyoaks in January, playing ‘party girl’ and ‘social media sensation’ Rayne Royce.

Last month, the pair started sparking rumors of a real-life romance as they cuddled up for a selfie on a train, which Jemma later posted to her Instagram.
