Identical twin sisters who have the same job, car and dog move into matching homes – right next door to each other

Identical twin sisters with the same job, car and dog have now moved into two identical houses next to each other.

Stephanie Buckman and Sammie Nowakowski of Jacksonville, Florida, have been living mirror images since birth.

The 30-year-olds both work as cosmetic medicine assistants in the same clinic.

They met their husbands on the same day and were pregnant at the same time, with their children born just three weeks apart.

Even their Golden Retrievers are brothers from the same litter – and now their homes, too, reflect their everlasting bond.

The identical twin sisters, who have the same job, car and dog, have now moved into identical houses – right next door to each other

Stephanie and Sammie lived similar lives for years, as they attended the same university and were also roommates

“Our houses have exactly the same layout inside, the same floor plan,” Stephanie says.

‘The outside of our houses looks a little different because they have different heights.

‘But all the large furniture is exactly the same: sofas, coffee tables, leather chairs, TV furniture, bar stools, kitchen tables and chairs.

‘We also have the same window decoration, lamps, dining tables, large beds and matching garden furniture.’

Stephanie and Sammie claim they simply have the same aesthetic.

They always dreamed of purchasing a piece of furniture from a luxury furniture and design company near them called J Turner & Co.

Stephanie said: ‘We both have the same taste and aesthetic – very neutral.

We always choose exactly the same things.

The twins explained: ‘All the major furniture is exactly the same – sofas, coffee tables, leather chairs, TV units, bar stools, kitchen tables and chairs’

“We ended up choosing a lot of the same pieces for our homes because our tastes are so similar,” they said.

“That happened when we bought cars, for example. I bought a Jeep and Sammie loved it, so she bought the exact same one.”

She continued: “This theme seems to repeat itself in our lives.

‘We ended up choosing a lot of the same pieces for our homes because our tastes are so similar.

“We knew this was going to happen and it didn’t surprise us at all.”

Stephanie and Sammie have been living similar lives for years. They attend the same university and share a room there.

Even their husbands find it difficult to tell them apart.

Stephanie said, “Our voices are very similar. Our husbands are very used to who we are and knew what was going to happen when we designed our homes.

“They love everything we’ve both picked out. Our husbands are best friends and hang out all the time.”

The sisters met their husbands on the same day and were pregnant at the same time, with their children only three weeks apart.

“We have always been best friends and are very close. Our friends and family are very happy for us,” the sisters said.

She continues: ‘When we were little girls, we always dreamed of living next door to each other.

‘We have always been best friends and are very close. Our friends and family are very happy for us.

“Of course there are people who don’t understand why we want to be so similar. We know it can be hard to understand, especially when you don’t have a twin sister.

“Our houses finally feel like home, and it’s really great to live next door to each other like this.”
