In the season 25 finale of Law & Order: SVU, Ice-T’s character suffers a gunshot wound during a dangerous confrontation with an armed boy.
Now the rapper has revealed how he found out his character would be shot again.
Speak with Peoplethe actor, 66, revealed that his castmates alerted him to the scene before he could read the script.
“I was reading the pages. I did not know. So I’m here in the script and everyone’s like, “You’re getting shot!” I’m like, “What?” That could be BAD,” he said.
His character, Fin, fortunately survived. “I’ve been through it,” he added.

This isn’t the first time Fin has been shot in the series; his character was also injured in season six.
The star of the hit series has previously expressed concerns about possible death.
During a recent interview with co-star Mariska Hargitay, he admitted that he was curious to see if his character would survive season 25.
“So when I get the script, I just look at it to make sure I don’t get shot and bleed to death. But I don’t know the arc of the season,” he said Entertainment weekly.
“He just wants to make sure he doesn’t die,” Mariska chimed in, laughing.
‘I want to make sure I don’t die. I got shot in this episode [in season 6]and as soon as I read it, I went like this, Mariska. [Ice-T pretends to frantically flip through an imaginary script in front of him, all the way to the end]’, Ice-T described.
‘I was like… “Oh, wow… I’m alive!” So we just didn’t know how the deck would be shuffled at this point. Mariska is out there now, she has no partner. Who will be her partner?’ he added.

The latest season of the program premiered in January, and NBC celebrated the show’s 25th anniversary by temporarily changing the name of Rockefeller Plaza to Olivia Benson Plaza.
The 25th season of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit was also the shortest in the show’s history, as it only lasted 13 episodes. It returns for a 26th season.
Law & Order ran for 20 seasons until its original cancellation, which occurred in 2010. It was revived for a 21st season in 2021.
