The Daily Telegraph reports that the last time Thorpe’s new digs traded was in 2016, when the buyer paid $2.37 for the prestigious home.

According to the report, buyers from Greece and France were on the phone expressing interest in the property in the eastern suburbs.
Meanwhile, The Daily Telegraph reports that the property is now rented for as much as $1,800 a week.
Known as Australia’s greatest ever Olympic swimmer, Thorpe was a five-time gold medalist.
He rose to fame at the age of 17 at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, when he won five medals, including three gold.
Thorpe failed to sell his nearby luxury mansion in Sydney’s Woollahra in September. It is now rented for $1800 per week
