The beloved promotion was launched in 2005 and works in the same way as the classic Monopoly board game. Customers over the age of 18 have a chance to win prizes by collecting game pieces from menu items such as fries, wraps, drinks and McFlurrys.

By simply removing the game pieces from these selected items, customers can instantly win free food and bigger prizes, such as a £2,000 holiday with TUI.

Fans can also choose to collect owned pieces of the same color to earn the most extravagant prizes via the MyMcDonald’s app and mcdcollect.co.uk, where they will then have another chance to win.

The McDonald’s enthusiast explained his long list of winnings in the video.

He said: ‘I spent £50 on McDonald’s chips just to see what the odds are of winning McDonald’s Monopoly this year, so here are the results.’

After removing 64 stickers, he revealed that he had a total of 17 instant wins.

He added: ‘I won three raffle tickets of six chicken nuggets, one Coca-Cola, two apple pies, two small fries, two McFlurrys, one hot drink from McCafe, one iconic menu item.’

In addition to the free food, he also won five discount codes, but claimed: “I’m never going to use (them).”

He continued, “As for the other codes, I entered them into the app and won some more… prizes.”

The additional prizes include a £10 Skullcandy voucher and fridge magnets.
