I visited it first Salem, MAon a whim while traveling nearby one October. However, I didn’t realize that the city is flooded with visitors all month long, not just on Halloween.

Infamous for the Salem Witch Trials, the city has become a tourist destination for lovers of all things spooky, especially with Halloween approaching.

Most of my visit was spent trying to find parking, with the sheer volume of people limiting the appeal for me.

I would like to visit outside of October and only recommend ghost season enthusiasts to plan a trip during that time.
