Joe Biden’s home in Delaware was listed as the beneficiary’s address on two wire transfers Hunter Biden received from China, a leading Republican said. James Comer, the chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability committee, says he obtained bank records through a subpoena that showed Hunter received payments from Beijing in 2019, when Joe was vice president.

Records show that Joe’s Wilmington, Delaware home at ‘1209 Barley Mill Rd’ was listed as the beneficiary’s address. Hunter is said to have lived there for two years after divorcing his first wife Kathleen Buhle in 2017. He was also said to be exploring global business opportunities with companies in China and Ukraine.

The first transfer on July 26, 2019, worth $100,000, came from Ms Wang Xin, who is listed on the website of Beijing equity firm BHR Partners. The second was reportedly from Jonathan Li, Chinese national Hunter who was allegedly threatened via WhatsApp while Joe was in the room. “I’m sitting here waiting for the phone call with my dad,” Hunter told Li in the messages revealed by an IRS whistleblower.

The Republican Party released the final evidence in the investigation, just two days before Republicans hold their first hearing on the impeachment inquiry against Biden on Thursday. The party has revealed evidence showing that $24 million flowed from foreign entities to the Biden family between 2014 and 2019.

Comer, who has investigated the Biden family and their foreign deals, has subpoenaed financial records from a specific bank account linked to Hunter. BHR Partners is backed by Bank of China Limited and was a joint venture between Hunter Biden’s firm Rosemont Seneca and investment firm Bohai Capital.

“Bank records don’t lie, but President Joe Biden does,” Comer said Tuesday night. “In 2020, Joe Biden told Americans that his family never received money from China. We already proved this to be a lie earlier this year, and now we know that two cables originating from Beijing listed Joe Biden’s Wilmington home as a beneficiary address when he ran for president of the United States. When Joe Biden was vice president, he spoke on the phone and had coffee with Jonathan Li in Beijing, and later wrote a letter of recommendation for his children.”

“Joe Biden’s abuse of public office for his family’s financial gain threatens our national security. What did the Bidens do with this money from Beijing? Americans demand and deserve accountability for President Biden and the First Family’s corruption. The Oversight Committee, along with the Judiciary and Ways and Means Committees, will continue to monitor the evidence and money to provide transparency and accountability,” he continued.

The White House responded to the latest claims, saying it was a stunt to distract from the looming government shutdown. Ian Sams, Biden’s spokesman for oversight and investigations, said: “Comer and (Republican Rep.) Jim Jordan must explain to the military service members living in Kentucky and Ohio, who will continue to do their jobs even without their paychecks, why they are wasting their time waste with attacks. President Biden debunked conspiracies instead of trying to avoid the disastrous consequences of the Republican government shutdown in the House of Representatives.
