Hunter Biden is due in court again next month and faces jail time if he doesn’t answer questions in his child support case, a judge ordered Monday.
The mother of Hunter’s child launched her case in May 2019 in a court in Batesville, Arkansas seeking child support for their daughter Navy Joan Roberts – who Hunter initially denied was his.
In recent months, the First Son, 53, asked the court to reduce his payments to baby momma Lunden Roberts, 32, and deny her request to change the Navy’s last name to Biden.
But he got into legal hot water after failing to answer financial questions from Roberts’ lawyer Clint Lancaster.
In an order issued June 5, Independence County Circuit Judge Holly Meyer told Hunter that he must answer 13 unanswered questions from Lancaster or provide evidence, and that he will hear from both sides to “determine whether a finding of contempt and sanctions are appropriate’.
The questions include requests for copies of Hunter’s historical banking records, though most of the other details have been redacted in the publicly available court documents.

In recent months, the First Son, 53, asked the court to reduce his payments to baby mama Lunden Roberts, 32, (pictured above at court in May) and to decline her request to change Navy’s surname to Biden to point.
Under the warrant, the First Son could face six months in prison, attorneys’ fees of up to $20,000, a fine and automatic loss of his legal arguments if found contemptuous.
Meyer ordered Hunter to appear before the Batesville courthouse at 10 a.m. on July 10 and “show reason, if any, why he should not be scorned.”
Roberts won a reported $2.5 million settlement from Hunter after suing him in 2019 forcing him to take a DNA test to prove he was the father of Navy Joan during their 2017 affair.
The order comes just days after nearly 9,000 photos of Hunter Biden’s laptop were published online by right-wing nonprofit Marco Polo, whose founder was hired by Lancaster to help with their case.
The 8,864 photos posted to bidenlaptopmedia.com include hundreds of images of the First Son taking drugs and having sex with prostitutes, as well as family photos and everyday snaps.
The photos published last week include 7,032 mostly from Hunter’s MacBook Pro iPhoto app, 1,832 from a backup of his iPhone XS, 428 “live photos” (short videos taken on an iPhone), 674 images sent in text messages messages, 579 screenshots, 40 sent via WhatsApp, and 111 others.

Founded by former Trump White House staffer Garrett Ziegler, 27, Marco Polo describes itself as “a non-profit investigative group that exposes corruption and blackmail.”
Hunter’s attorney in the child support case, Brent Langdon, argued that Ziegler had “no work experience as an accountant or financial expert of any kind” and posed a “security and confidentiality risk” if given Hunter’s confidential financial documents and tax returns.
Langdon said Ziegler was campaigning against the Bidens for political reasons, though the former White House official says he is only pushing for transparency.
The long-running paternity case between the president’s son and Roberts appeared to be settled in 2019 when a DNA test showed that Hunter had fathered petty marine Joan Roberts and he agreed to a reported $2.5 million settlement.
But the recovering drug addict abruptly reopened the case in September by claiming he had undergone “a substantial material change” in his income and was unable to pay the payments.
Roberts refused to budge and upped the ante by petitioning the court to officially rename her daughter Navy Joan Biden to “profit from carrying the Biden family name,” a move Hunter dismissed as “political warfare”. ‘.
Roberts also served the First Son with an extensive discovery request that covered everything from his shady business dealings in Ukraine and China to the names of the mysterious art lovers who paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for his beginner abstract paintings.
