Hillary Clinton’s right-hand man, 47, and the younger Soros, 38, got engaged six weeks ago in Italy, according to Page six.
“After a lot of tumultuous years for Huma, she is now relaxed, happy and in love,” a friend of Abedin told the outlet.
Alex has been named heir to his father’s $25 billion empire.
After confirming their romance on Instagram on Valentine’s Day, they attended the Met Gala together in May.

The duo kept a low profile and were rarely seen in public.
In April, Page Six reported that they were sitting courtside to watch the Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
The romance between the two came seven years after Huma divorced her ex-husband Anthony Weiner, who was embroiled in a number of high-profile scandals.
Weiner was caught sending explicit photos to various women on multiple occasions, even during his political campaigns.
But he failed to learn from his mistakes and was later sentenced to 21 months in prison after he began sexting a 15-year-old girl.
Abedin, who had initially supported him, eventually decided to pull the plug and the two went their separate ways.
The former couple have a son, Jordan, who was born in 2011.
Abedin was previously rumored to have a brief relationship with Bradley Cooper in 2022. He was reportedly set to attend the Met Gala with The Hangover star that year, but they reportedly split afterward to maintain their cover.
Huma is reportedly a close friend of Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and has been attending the exclusive event since 2016.
