How to unlock the Warfarer calling in Dragon’s Dogma 2

The Warman is Dragon dogma 2‘s jack-of-all-trades vocation, allowing you to wield multiple weapons and show off your mastery of the game’s combat systems. Of all the vocations in the game, Warfarer is the most complicated to unlock. You’ll have to do some prep work and invest some money if you want to get it.

Where to find Newt Liqueur in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Although you can go straight to the Warfarer teacher once you reach Battahl, you can’t unlock it without it three bottles Newt Liqueur First. You can find them at Higg’s Tavern Stand in Bakbattahl for 5,000 gold per bottle.

Higg’s Tavern Stand is located just north of the residential area, west of all the fields and pools. Outside the building you will meet a grumpy beast named Karnel. Ignore him for now.

Walk to the small gate with hay on the inside and two large bags of sacks on the outside. Grab one of the bag bundles using your grab button and carry it inside the fenced area. Drop it and Karnel will invite you to Higg’s Tavern Stand.

Once you regain control of your character, talk to Ezekiel and buy all the Newt liquor he has. After collecting the three bottles of Newt Liqueur, you can go home Volcanic island of Agamen and the Warfarer teacher.

At the most southwestern point of Battahl you will find Drabnir’s Grotto – a cave that leads you to Agamen

The quickest way to get there is via the back road through Drabnir’s Grotto, south-west of Battahl. (This is the same route you take to unlock the Mystic Archer calling, for what it’s worth.)

Once you leave Drabnir’s Grotto, follow the path east until you reach the volcanic island of Aamen. You are looking for Lamondthe NPC who teaches you Warfarer, at the warm spring in the Volcanic island camp.

To get there, follow the road east until you reach a small town with a hot spring in an elevated cave. Go to the small building where you can buy a dip in the springs and talk to the tattooed man sitting just outside: Lamond.

Lamond is having some bad luck and would like to drown his sorrows with his favorite drink: Newt Liqueur. After you talk to him, he will give you a quest: “The Sotted Sage.” For this quest, he asks you for a few bottles of his favorite liquor and promises to give you some rotten, soft-boiled eggs in return.

You will quench Lamond’s thirst if you do Give him three bottles of Newt liquor. Once you do, he’ll tell you his story and then give you the Warfarer calling. But make sure he gives you the letter before you leave Grandmaster’s Path skill scroll, because this is the ultimate skill of the profession and you need it for the class to function properly. If he didn’t give it to you, just talk to him again and he should discuss it.
