Horrifying footage shows man pouring gasoline on car before setting it on fire in THIRD incident in same driveway in six years as police hunt for suspect in Dem-led New Jersey
Gruesome footage captured a man pouring petrol on a car before setting it on fire, the third incident at the same driveway in six years.
The shocking incident occurred Saturday evening in Haddonfield, New Jersey, when an unknown arsonist emptied the contents of a gasoline container onto an SUV.
The couple who lived in the building were asleep when the incident occurred on Concord Circle in the city.
Surveillance footage shows the arsonist pouring gasoline into the engine compartment and then underneath the silver vehicle.
The person then casts a trail to ignite while backing away from the vehicle and terrain.
The crime marks the latest black mark on the Democratic-led state, which was catapulted onto the national stage after the senator faced a ton of alleged bribery charges.

Within minutes the car was completely engulfed in flames as the arsonist made a quick escape
He then comes back and lights the path, making the SUV go fast completely submerged in the inferno.
As the fire spreads, you see the engine explode, sending fire and debris flying across the driveway.
The homeowner is believed to be seen attempting to extinguish the flames as the vehicle continues to burn.
Police have since said the house has been the target of three separate arson incidents.
The first was in 2017, then in 2021 and now last weekend. The police report that a different homeowner lived there each time.
In a public safety update, Haddonfield police said, “A suspect poured gasoline on a car parked in the homeowner’s driveway and set it on fire.
‘The property has previously been the target of arson; Since 2017, several incidents have occurred, with the house changing hands several times.

“There is no evidence to suggest the greater Haddonfield community is at risk.
“Detectives from both law enforcement agencies and the Fire Marshall are committed to solving the crimes and charging the individual(s) to bring closure to the residents of Concord Circle.
‘We ask that you respect the privacy of the current homeowners.’
Police Chief Jason Cutler added, “Through investigation, we learned that there was a suspect who actually set the car on fire with gasoline.
At the request of CBS News as to why the property was targeted, he added: “We don’t know if that’s a good question, but it really revolves around this one property in town. There’s no arsonist walking through town.’
The brazen crime in the Garden State comes after New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez entered a not guilty plea to a criminal charge of conspiring to act as an agent for the Egyptian government.
Menendez, 69, and his wife Nadine, 56, face three criminal charges each for their part in an alleged bribery scheme after a year-long investigation.
Prosecutors said that over the past five years, the senator and his wife accepted bribes of cash, gold bars and a luxury car from three New Jersey businessmen in exchange for a variety of corrupt acts.

Agents discovered more than $500,000 in cash in senator’s envelopes and jackets
The rewritten indictment added an indictment alleging that the senator, his wife and one of the businessmen conspired to have Menendez act as an agent of the government of Egypt and Egyptian officials.
The allegations include that Menendez passed information to staff at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo.
Several gold bars were found during a court-approved search of the couple’s home in June 2022.
The gold bars were part of the hundreds of thousands of bribes the couple is accused of, which totaled more than $400,000.
Agents also discovered more than 0,000 in cash wrapped in envelopes and the senator’s jackets.
The original complaint alleged that the New Jersey senator Googled, “How much is one pound of gold worth?
” after returning home from a trip to Egypt in October 2021.
David Schertler, an attorney for Nadine Menendez, previously said she “denies any criminal conduct and will vigorously contest these charges in court.”
