Inside Homes Under The Hammer’s Martel Maxwell’s stunning Austrian skiing trip with rarely seen husband
Homes Under The Hammer presenter Martel Maxwell posted a rare photo of her husband on the occasion of a beautiful ski trip the couple took to the Austrian Alps.
Martel, 47, posted photos from the trip to Obergurgl Resort in Austria on her Instagram page on Wednesday.
She was seen in thermals and snow goggles as she enjoyed a day on the snowy slopes with her husband, Jamie Parrat.
Martel posted a photo of the pair enjoying a refreshing pint while in another photo she showed off her legs in front of the breathtaking Alps.
The presenter also brought her parents and children along for the outing, because she was away from television cameras.

She wrote on Instagram: ‘Apres, Apres, Apres Vous! Fun with family and friends in the Alps.
‘First morning in the luggage room (also called a sauna, where parents with purple faces layer the children) and relaxed.
‘Austria is so beautiful. The sky, the Alps, the beers.’
Other users on the social media platform posted their well wishes to the presenter, writing: ‘Hope you’ve had a fantastic week!’
‘Beautiful photos! I love your ski suit!’
‘Beautiful view, shame about the background’.
‘I bet you’re mentally evaluating the chalet and wondering where you can put an extra bathroom. But seriously: enjoy every second.’
Martel Maxwell first set foot on the Homes Under The Hammer set in 2017.
Having previously studied law at Edinburgh University, Martel later became a reporter at The Sun before landing a weekly column at The Evening Telegraph in Dundee.

In 2010 she moved into broadcasting and landed a role in BBC’s The One Show.
She later became a recurring entertainment guest on ITV’s Lorraine before replacing Lucy Alexander in Homes Under The Hammer in 2017.
In 2010, she released a novel based on her own experiences as a showbiz reporter called Scandalous.
The Telegraph described it as ‘an exciting insight into the world of kiss and tell and celebrity baiting’, but also felt that ‘the story is weighed down by product placement’.
