Home and Away star Emily Weir on her struggle to stay sober over the festive season: ‘Sometimes I feel sad’

But the 32-year-old Home and Away star says he still faces a struggle to maintain his sobriety over the festive season.
While she’s “proud” of what she’s accomplished, she said there’s still a level of exclusion around Christmas because she can’t let go like those around her.

He explained that “the price is too high” to gamble and was happy to make the social sacrifice for his sobriety.
It comes just as the Home and Away cast has wrapped up filming for the year, with Weir slated to star in the Christmas special Carols in the Domain.
“The truth is that I still feel a bit left out, not because people leave me out, but because I’m not on the same level,” she said.
After spending the holidays with his loved ones, he said that he will travel to Bali for his first solo adventure.
Weir landed her breakout role as Mackenzie on Home and Away in 2019.
Before that, he appeared on the television series The Sleepover Club in 2003.
