The couple, who have been engaged since 2020, tied the knot earlier this month during an outdoor ceremony at Stewarts Bay Lodge in Port Arthur, surrounded by 100 close friends and family.
speaking to New Idea magazine on Monday, Bonnie revealed that she and Nathan wanted to keep their day “nice and simple” rather than “put on a show.”
The couple also made sure their twin 4-year-old daughters, Myrtle and Emerald, were front and center throughout the day.
“It was a dream come true for us to have our two little boys watching and being a part of it, celebrating,” Bonnie said.

Bonnie dazzled in an ivory satin wedding dress by Madi Lane that featured an off-the-shoulder strap, fitted corset bodice and dramatic train.
She wore her blonde locks up in loose waves and completed her look with statement pearl earrings.
The couple also made sure their twin 4-year-old daughters, Myrtle and Emerald (both pictured), were front and center throughout the day.
Meanwhile, Nathan was sporting a beige suit, a white button-down shirt, and tan leather dress shoes.
Using the stunning natural setting as their backdrop, Bonnie and Nathan were married under an archway that had been built by Bonnie’s father out of reclaimed driftwood.
Meanwhile, Bonnie’s mom decorated the tables with homegrown flowers.
Bonnie and Nathan are known for keeping their family life private and never publicly announced their engagement at the time.
“I was the most grateful I’ve ever been in my life to have this day to celebrate love and each other and everyone’s good health and being able to be together,” she told the publication.
