Holly Willoughby cut an elegant figure in a pink one-shoulder dress as she shared her traditional pre-show outfit ahead of hosting Dancing On Ice on Sunday.

As she prepares to take to the stage for the second week in a row, 42-year-old Holly took to Instagram to show off her glamorous attire.

She stunned in a chic maxi dress with an animated bow on her shoulder, as she teamed her look with matching pink nails.

The TV presenter captioned her post: ‘On Sundays we wear pink! @DancingOnIce 6.30 pm on @itv… see you soon’.

Holly was away from the screens for more than two months before returning to co-host the ITV skating competition with Stephen Mulhern.

Holly was on a break from TV after quitting This Morning in October after hearing about it an alleged plot to kidnap and kill her.

Following her TV comeback, Holly’s lifestyle brand Wylde Moon shared an Instagram post about ‘resilience, strength’ and ‘thriving in dark times’.

When posting a photo of a moonflower on their stories, the caption read: ‘The moon flower has become a symbol of blossoming in dark times.

‘These fragrant, white flowers have evolved over millions of years to open only at night and their ethereal, nocturnal beauty is a powerful symbol of how resilience, strength and growth can blossom during the darkest and most challenging moments.’

According to The sunHolly reshared the post on her own Instagram Stories, alongside the words: ‘Even in the dark… she’s growing… nature is beautiful.’

Holly returned to TV screens for the Dancing On Ice launch show on Sunday as she made her debut with her new co-host Stephen, who has replaced Phillip Schofield.

Holly has been absent from screens for almost three months since leaving This Morning in October after 14 years on the bench.

Her return to Dancing On Ice also saw her reunited with Stephen Mulhern, who has replaced Phillip Schofield as her co-host on the skating show.

She quit the show after an alleged plot to kidnap and kill her emerged, with Phillip Schofield leaving ITV after his affair with a younger showrunner was exposed.

Gavin Plumb, 36, has pleaded not guilty to charges of incitement to murder and incitement to kidnap of the former This Morning presenter. The guard remains behind bars after being denied bail.

During a brief hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court, Gavin Plumb, from Harlow, Essex, who was not present, was refused a bail application. He has set a trial date for June 24 next year.

Dancing On Ice bosses are said to have offered Holly more security and wanted to ensure she felt completely ‘safe’ during the show, according to reports The sun.

The publication also claimed that Holly has signed a one-year contract with an option to step back in the future in case she wants a longer break.

Holly signed a deal over Christmas after weeks of considering whether to present the show, and is said to be ‘excited’ to get back to work on the show she previously presented with her former boyfriend Phillip .

An ITV insider told MailOnline: ‘Holly is a star and everyone was hoping so much that she would decide to come back.

‘After much discussion and much thought, she thought it would be a good thing to get some normalcy in her life.

Holly quit this morning after an alleged plot to kidnap and kill her emerged, with Phillip leaving ITV after his affair with a younger showrunner came to light.

‘There are obvious concerns about live television, her main priority is her family, ITV has been extremely understanding and put no pressure on her at all.

‘They wanted to give her all the time she needed, but it was a difficult decision for her. Time was ticking, but the bosses tried to remain calm.’

When she returned to TV last week, an expert said The sun she seemed “more mature” and could “relaunch her career” with a move to her own solo show in the future.

Expert Nick Ede told the publication: ‘Having her back on our screens makes her a leading broadcaster in Britain. It felt like it was her show: she owned the rink.

“She’s not the queen of daytime television, it seems like she’s the queen of primetime. It felt like Holly had matured somehow and I can see her doing more serious things now.

‘She has always been able to do light entertainment with serious topics on This Morning and I can now see her doing documentaries or big sit-down interviews with stars, which would be really compelling viewing.’
