This is the hilarious moment a woman had to chase her car into the driveway after the automatic handbrake failed to work.
Vicky Lane, 23, had just arrived home from a long day at work on January 2, but as soon as she left her car it started rolling backwards.
The account manager was shocked and did her utmost to prevent the car from rolling onto the road. She almost knocked down a fence in the process.
Vicky, from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, said: ‘I was just thinking should I run with it or jump on it!
“The only thing going through my mind was my dad telling me to stop if I crashed again.”

After leaving the car, she suddenly noticed it starting to roll in her driveway because the handbrake was not engaged
The 23-year-old makes a desperate attempt to get behind the wheel of her car
Vicky tries to get into the car as it continues to roll down the driveway
Luckily, Vicky managed to stop the car before it crashed straight into a wall at the end of the journey and she was fortunately not injured by the events.
She added, “I wasn’t hurt! Just my ego!’
Vicky also admitted that this had happened to her twice before. This happened once in the parking lot of a supermarket.

After a short struggle, the 23-year-old eventually managed to enter the vehicle and gain control
The account manager almost knocked down a fence trying to save her car
Eventually the car came to a stop and was quickly pulled back into the driveway
She continued, “This is the third time this has happened.
‘It happened once in a Tesco car park and the whole entrance was blocked for 20 minutes.’
