This is the bizarre moment a group of bewildered tourists came across a luxury yacht and its crew sitting on top of a sand dune after it crashed into the beach of a Spanish island during a navigational blunder.
Viral footage from June 22 shows the stranded boat stuck almost vertically on a sandbank on the islet of Espalmador in Formentera, Spain.
The ship, believed to be a 55-foot Pershing sports yacht with a price tag of up to £300,000, could be seen tilted on the small hill as people climbed aboard and sat on the bow as it balanced in the air.
According to Power hunt magazine, speculation suggests that the ship had to be traveling at a speed of 35 knots to crash into the sand dunes in this way.
No damage to the ship has yet been reported and local Spanish media claim that none of the crew on board the yacht were injured in the event.
