While Celebrity Big Brother star Kim, 81, spoke out against Phillip, describing him as an “unpleasant, horrible man,” as she recalled appearing on his show.

Holly was also the target of strong criticism from the TV personality, as Kim berated her for not calling her co-presenter for his “extremely unkind and mean” comments, saying she’s “not cut out to be a presenter.”

The professional cleaner didn’t hold back when discussing the two presenters on GB News, who have recently endured a series of controversies, including Queuegate.

Speaking up: Phillip Schofield has broken his silence over claims that a backstage feud with Holly Willoughby is rumbling behind the scenes of This Morning. Her friends see it as a ‘betrayal’

Speaking to Dan Wooton about Phillip Schofield, Kim said, “I’ve had so many confrontations, he’s an obnoxious, horrible man and I don’t know why he’s still on television.

“I went on his show and he insulted me, he was rude, he was horrible. He laughed at me, he actually laughed at me.

“He shouldn’t be on television. He’s a cruel, brutal little man and he’s full of himself.”

In a recent statement, Phillip said: “The past few weeks have not been easy for either of us. Like I’ve said before, Holly is my rock.

“We’re the best of friends — as always, she’s been an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes, and on the phone.” Holly has always been there for me through thick and thin. And I’ve been there for her.’

However, friends of Holly reportedly viewed the outburst as a “betrayal” and some of her loved ones are now urging her to dump her co-host.

Kim continued, “On the subject of Holly I will be brief, Holly has helped and supported him all these years.

“She’s on that couch and she knows he’s coming out with things that are extremely unkind and nasty and inappropriate… she says ‘excuse me Phil, I disagree with you'”? No, she just says “oh, Phillip!”

“She has no point of view, why is she on the show?” … When she gets put on a top show like this where she makes tons of money … you have to choose someone who has something to say and Holly seems like a sweet little woman, and that’s it!

“She’s seen him being rude to people. I’ve seen people really sad on that show.”

Even the show’s fans have had their say, taking to social media to say that Phillip should quit the ITV show.

One Twitter user wrote, “It would be best if we never saw that man on TV again.”

A fan also suggested it was time for This Morning to take a closer look at their presenting line-up, following the positive response from the fans when Holly recently hosted the show with Alison Hammond.

They tweeted: “It would be nice if @ITV replaced all presenters and started looking for new talent.”

On Facebook, one user wrote, “Sooner gone the better,” while another added, “Get rid of him, he should have been gone years ago.”

A third commented, “It’s time to get rid of Phillip Schofield. He not only wants to host the show, but seems to want to be the star of the show.’
