While still recovering, Helen, who split from Scott in October, claimed she underwent surgery in a bid to “feel more confident”.
She also explained how her decision had been influenced by a reduction in her bust from an E cup to ‘not filling out a B cup bra’ caused by breastfeeding her three children, Matilda, seven, Delilah, four and Charlie, 17 months.
While refraining from showing the results, the newly single star said in the vlog: ‘Hello, I wanted to appear here. I’m actually very nervous to share this, but I did have a boob job.
I did it on Thursday. Yeah, so I’m in recovery right now. I’ve been really nervous about sharing this, because you always get some not-so-nice comments or whatever.
“But yeah, it’s something I did for myself, I really wanted to do it for my confidence.” I’ve been so nervous about sharing this. Obviously I’m very much for body confidence, and very much for supporting other women, but supporting women in whatever choices they decide to make.
“I think if something is really bothering you, then I think it’s good to do something about it.”
Candid: Earlier this month, she revealed she had had a boob job, admitting she was “very nervous” to share the news, but felt she needed the surgery as her boobs “got so saggy.”
“I’m on my second day of recovery, literally…my friend just helped me wash my hair and dry it because you can’t really…you can’t, you can’t shower properly, you.” I have to keep the wounds dry, I have this kind of bra on and you can’t get it wet.
“So these Stories will probably be quite long, so you might want to get comfortable, but I’m just going to talk about everything, really.”
Helen confessed that she decided to have surgery after becoming a mother to Delilah, but waited until she welcomed Charlie as she wanted another baby.
Sultry: The actress previously shared photos of herself in lingerie on her Instagram and revealed that she was ‘big and busty’ before having children
She said: ‘I never thought I would have a boob job. I was always…I was always like, really busty, I never thought I’d be someone who needed a boob job.
“Basically, my breasts have changed a lot from pregnancy and breastfeeding. And it’s really tricky here, because I loved all my lactation journeys. I am a big supporter of breastfeeding.
“I think it’s an amazing experience that you can have your kids and I would, you know, over and over again. But in total, I probably breastfed for about… I’d say about three years.
So Matilda was eight months old and I’ve had my babies all together. Delilah was 13 months old. And yes, Charlie was 14 months old. So all together it really is about three years of breastfeeding.
‘I think it’s because she was quite big and busty before. There’s no other nice way, I keep trying to think of a nicer way to say it. But the reason… they just sank.
“There’s no better way to say it, but they got really flaccid and I can’t think of a better way to say it and it took a toll on my confidence.”
‘When I first saw Matilda, my breasts were fine. In fact, they were smaller, which I really liked. I think my frame changed, having children. I’ve always been thin and petite, but I lost quite a bit of weight having children.
