Harry Kane scored England’s third in the 3-0 win over Bosnia-Herzegovina on Monday, marking a significant milestone for the England captain.
The Three Lions took a 2-0 lead in the friendly thanks to a Cole Palmer penalty and a Trent Alexander-Arnold goal.
Kane then rounded off the victory with a close-range strike after a scramble into the goalmouth.
The goal was the Bayern Munich striker’s 63rd in international football, putting him one ahead of the legendary Ronaldo.
Many consider the Brazilian to be the greatest number nine in the history of international football, but Kane’s numbers are more impressive.

Kane found the net 63 times in 90 matches, while Ronaldo managed 62 in 98 matches.
England started their preparation for the European Championship with a relatively comfortable 3-0 victory.
England upped the tempo after a dull first half and Palmer, who has scored nine penalties for Chelsea this season, broke the deadlock with his first England goal in the 60th minute from the spot after Ezri Konsa was pulled down in the penalty area.
Liverpool’s Alexander-Arnold, one of the bright spots of the evening, doubled the lead in the 85th minute with his third goal for England when he fired home from a tight angle.

Several key players, including midfielder Jude Bellingham, who won the Champions League with Real Madrid on Saturday, were missing, but the match was very much about manager Gareth Southgate deciding which seven players to drop from their 26-man squad before Friday’s deadline.
England host Iceland in their final friendly at Wembley on Friday before heading to Germany.
