Talks between Bayern, Tottenham and Kane took place late Thursday amid growing optimism on the part of the Bundesliga side that the striker remains determined to join.

The German giants have been openly courting Kane for weeks after privately assuring the 30-year-old would move to Bavaria.

However, after reaching a deal in principle with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, the Bundesliga club had still not received the final green light to complete the mega-swoop on Thursday night.

But after talks, there is renewed optimism from Bayern that a deal could be struck next week with Kane ready to undergo a medical.
