Harrison Ford’s former home in Los Angeles, which he bought for $1 million after making Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi, has hit the market for $20 million, he said. Realtor.com.
Ford owned the house for almost thirty years, from 1983 to 2012, and even did some work on it himself, as he was a carpenter.
It is also located in a prized, gated neighborhood in Brentwood, near the famous Getty Center Museum.
The Indiana Jones actor sold the sprawling home to Kevin Reilly, the former Chief Content Officer of HBO Max, for $8.2 million.
Reilly owned the home for just four years, selling it in 2016 for $12 million.
The next owner was Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel and his model woman Miranda Kerr. Now the power couple have listed the house to move into a mansion they built in Holmby Hills that cost $145 million for the land alone.
This comes after Kerr listed her Malibu home for $4.5 million earlier this year.

The building was originally designed by the famous architect Gerard Colcord in 1951.
The house is located on almost 1 hectare. The house is just over 7,000 square feet and has four bedrooms, all of which have private bathrooms.
The outdoor space is generous.
There is a long swimming pool, ideal for swimming laps. At the end of the pool there is a pool house where you can shower and rest.
The space also contains two detached guesthouses.
The main building contains several rooms, such as a detached dining room, a large living room and a library.

The founder of KORA Organics described her family life as “organized chaos” because there is always something going on.
She said: “There’s a lot going on, there’s never a dull moment between leaving preschool and leaving kindergarten now that Flynn is in year 7 – it’s all happening. And I’m pregnant.’
But because Miranda and Snapchat founder Evan are often busy with work, she makes sure they schedule regular time for “date nights” away from the kids.
She said, “My husband is growing his business, I’m growing my business. Luckily, we’re both… roommates, so we really enjoy being at home with our family and spending time together.
‘It’s important to take that time together and living such a busy life, with the kids and with our businesses, it’s important to have time for the two of us too.

She said: ‘It was very different – there was no social media at all when I started modelling.
“We didn’t have that extra pressure that I’m sure a lot of girls feel these days.
This comes after Ford became emotional as he thanked wife Calista Flockhart for her ‘support’.
The 81-year-old actor was honored with the Career Achievement Award at the Critics Choice Awards on Sunday (14.01.24) and as he reflected on his enduring body of work and enduring success, he got choked up.
He told the crowd at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, “First of all, I’m really excited to be here and see what our company is delivering.
“And all the talented people who get opportunities that probably wouldn’t have existed at the beginning of my career. I am very happy with that.
“I’m here because of a combination of luck and the work of great directors, writers and filmmakers. I feel extremely happy.

And Harrison then paid tribute to his ‘good’ co-stars over the years.
He said: ‘I am grateful to all the good actors… that I have worked with and I am deeply happy that I have had the opportunities that I have had and I am grateful.
“I’m extremely happy to have had the opportunities I’ve had, and I’m grateful. I won’t take any more of your time. Thank you.’

Harrison’s “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” director James Mangold had presented him with the award.
The 60-year-old filmmaker said: ‘The largest stars in the known universe are called variable hypergiants… Of course Harrison Ford is a star. However, I propose tonight that it is a variable hypergiant.
‘A star so big that it contains masses. A star that is so unique that it attracts other stars. He has warmed each of our lives.”
James then listed some of the veteran actor’s biggest films, including “Working Girl,” “Blade Runner,” “American Graffiti,” “Apocalypse Now” and “Witness.”
He then joked, “The fact that I spit out that incredible, enviable list of movies and performances without even mentioning ‘Star Wars.’
He added: “Harrison’s body of work is breathtaking. It is completely timeless. It is authentic, deeply felt, masculine but vulnerable, often moving and often hilarious. His work is wildly popular and widely respected, and it represents the voice of an extraordinary artist.”
