The 37-year-old actor shared a series of behind-the-scenes snaps of Tommy’s appearance in the second season of Happy Valley in which he sports a shaved head.
While stills from the current and final series of the drama see the actor rocking long, disheveled locks while playing the killer.
In the first set of images, James showed off his clean-shaven look, with some snaps seeing him as Tommy with his fellow inmates.

Holly then asked if it had been difficult for Con and his co-stars to keep the ending a secret.
He explained: ‘It’s not a difficult secret to keep, as we’ve lived with this program for a long time.
