“It took me eight years,” Hannah told Women’s Health, when asked about starting a new relationship. ‘I didn’t really have the space for that mentally or emotionally.

“I hunkered down and concentrated on my girl and me. [But] Now I’m ready to stick my head above the ground a little more.’

When asked if ‘it’s a very nice parapet’, Hannah laughed and confirmed ‘it is!’

‘And of course it is also very beautiful, my relationship. But the best part is that I am happy and strong in myself.’

During her interview with Jimmy, Hannah said that she personally redesigned the suit that her character, Rebecca Welton, wore in the season 4 premiere of Ted Lasso to better fit her physique. She also designed two dresses for her role in Ride Or Die.

She said: Because I’m a curvy woman, it’s often quite difficult to get clothes. So, my stylist will tell you, I’m always changing a little, and even the suit I’m wearing in this latest season of Ted.

“I redesigned that suit to make it flattering for a curvy woman.”

Series four of Ted Lasso was labeled a ‘lazy mistake’ by TV critics.

The series stars Jason Sudeikis as an optimistic American college football coach who is unexpectedly hired to manage the British football team AFC Richmond.

Christopher Stevens of the Daily Mail rated the new series with just two out of five stars, claiming the show has run its course.

He wrote: ‘The Story of Ted Lasso, Apple TV’s smug comedy-drama about an American football coach who changes the fortunes of an English Premier League club by teaching him to play the American way.

‘As players learn to embrace their mental health and parrot inspirational slogans, they become happier, more well-rounded people. Of course they are also relegated, but who cares?

“By reviving a popular show that has run its course, Apple is making the same lazy mistake that undermined Hollywood. Instead of coming up with new and creative ideas, they’re content to repeat the old ones, and they clearly intend to keep doing that until we’re all thoroughly bored.”

Meanwhile inside The TelegraphBenji Wilson awarded the series three stars, writing, “The new Ted Lasso is the same as the old Ted Lasso: a surprisingly delicate balance between the sickly sweet and the nasty, leaving you amazed at how they get away with it.”
