Halle Berry remembers a music legend asking her out via slips of paper.
The 58-year-old Catwoman actress attended one of Prince’s concerts at the famous Key Club on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood and now claims the Purple One, who died in 2016 at the age of 57, tried to hit on her.
He had someone send her letters asking if she wanted to go on a date with him, but she turned down his offer.
She appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday and said, “He had someone come with a piece of paper. You know how kids go, ‘Do you like me? Yes or no?’ I said, ‘Yes!’ I mean, I’m at his concert, right?
Came out again [with another piece of paper that said]”Do you want to go out with me?”
When asked if she had responded, she replied, “No. I didn’t return the paper.”

Halle recalls turning down Prince after recently praising Pierce Brosnan for “restoring her trust in men.”
The former Bond girl starred alongside the former 007 in the 2002 Bond classic ‘Die Another Day’ and recalled that the 71-year-old actor was a true ‘gentleman’.
She told Wired: ‘He will always be my Bond, always. I’m a Pierce Brosnan fan.
“He restored my faith in men in that film. There can’t be a more gentlemanly person than Pierce Brosnan.”
Halle felt “honored” to be part of “film history” with her role as NSA agent Jinx in the film.
She added: ‘Bond wasn’t on my wish list, no, not to be in a film, but I always loved the films.
‘I’ve seen one myself and I feel like I’m part of cinema history… Those films are iconic.
“They will forever be a part of our history, and I feel truly honored to have been a part of that, especially with Pierce.”
She previously revealed that Pierce saved her life on set when she started choking on a fig during a scene that was supposed to be “sexy.”
While guesting on ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ in 2020, she laughed, ‘I had to look sexy and try to seduce him with a fig, and then I choked on it and he had to stand up and do the Heimlich move.

Since 2020 she has been together with singer Van Hunt.
Halle has a 10-year-old son Maceo with Oliver and a 16-year-old daughter Nahla with Gabriel.
