Good Morning Britain’s Alex Beresford has announced that his wife Imogen McKay is pregnant with the couple’s first child.
The weather presenter, 43, took to Instagram with a gushing post as he lovingly rested his hand on 30-year-old entrepreneur Imogen’s blossoming belly.
Alex, who shares 14-year-old son Cruz with ex-wife Natalia Natkaniec, said the news was the biggest gift.
Writing: ‘The greatest gift. I am in awe of my beautiful wife having baby B. We can’t wait to meet you. X’.
Fans and famous friends rushed to the comments section to congratulate the couple, including a host of Alex’s GMB colleagues.

Imogen is co-founder of luxury gift service Colford with business partner Nathan Cole.

Alex married Imogen in a beautiful ceremony in Mallorca in September 2022, having previously dropped to one knee on the island.
And at their wedding, his son Cruz acted as ring bearer and his mini-best man, while his brother and cousin played the role of ushers, and his best friends – both named Leon – were his best men.
Imogen’s sisters, Helena and Georgia, were bridesmaids and led the bridal procession down the aisle to the base of the white marble temple.
Alex popped the question on New Year’s Day while the pair were on holiday on a beach in Deia, Mallorca after two years of dating.

A mutual friend arranged a blind date for the lovebirds in August 2020 and the rest is history.
To mark their special moment, the happy couple returned to the Spanish island to tie the knot at the picturesque Son Marroig estate.
Before Alex and Imogen met, she recalled that she had never seen him on television before meeting him, and she did not seek him out before their date because she wanted to know first-hand what he was like.
Recalling their first date in Bristol, where Beresford lives, she said: ‘When we met it felt like we had known each other for ages. Holding hands and laughing together came naturally.’
The couple had a long-distance relationship between Bristol and London before their engagement.
Meanwhile Alex HELLO! magazine: ‘I had been single for a while and was ready for a new relationship. But I was convinced I didn’t want to try a dating website.
“I’m at an age where, before social media, you would meet a girl, write down her phone number and call her to invite her out.”
He explained that he asked a friend if she knew anyone he would get along with, to which she replied, “Yes, but she’s way too good for you.”
The host said he laughed along and told her, “She’s the one I want!”
Looking back on the beginning of their relationship, he said: “We hit it off from the start. We talked every day about our shared values and goals, and our love for our families. We’ve always been on the same page.”
Last year, Alex left his wife at home to take part in this year’s Celebrity edition of Race Across the World – and she says she’s not happy about it. Radio times.

Alex said: ‘As an adult you don’t get to spend this kind of time with your parents.
Imogen was upset because she loves to travel and is a fan of the show, but as much as I love her and spend time with her, I’m not sure this was the honeymoon she would want!
“In retrospect, I think I made the right decision.”
Alex has worked on Good Morning Britain since 2014 and made his Dancing On Ice debut in 2018.
