Good Morning Britain was thrown into chaos on Wednesday after Ed Balls accidentally kicked Susanna Reid in the head.
The politician was left noticeably red in the face after the hilarious blunder during a debate about passengers putting their feet on airplane seats.
For the discussion, Ed and Susanna moved to a mock-up version of airplane seats, with the former Strictly star sitting next to Andrew Pierce.
Trying to get comfortable, he crossed his feet on Susanna’s headrest and accidentally kicked her.
Susanna quickly fell over and clutched her head in pain, while Ed quickly jumped from his seat and apologized to her.

Ed seemed visibly remorseful about the blunder, and Susanna later joked: “I don’t think we’ve ever resolved a debate so quickly on the show.”
Later in the show, she revealed that her “face went blurry for 20 minutes.”
Susanna joked that Ed had put “a heel” in her head and said, “I actually would have preferred it if it were your socks.”
Ed added, “I thought oomph was here (to put his feet on the chair)” as she joked, “And the oomph landed here!” referring to her head.
It comes after Susanna revealed that ‘hangxiety’ and skin problems prompted her to go ‘alcohol-free’.
The presenter discussed the health benefits she has experienced since quitting drinking when she spoke to Lorraine Kelly on her morning show on Thursday.
Susanna, who quit drinking in 2018, added that while she still “enjoys a few bubbly” on very special occasions, she is “99.9 percent alcohol-free.”
Joining Lorraine in the studio, the presenter said: ‘You’re glowing.’
Later in the show, she revealed that her “face went blurry for 20 minutes” after the hit
‘Thanks, a lot of people do dry Jan and you need good motivation to stick to it. People think why not, you need a why to do it,” Susanna began.
She continued: ‘My reason was that I kept getting pimples on my skin and my doctor said this is because alcohol dilates your blood vessels and you get blood flow to the skin. I was prone to spots, pimples, rosacea. I thought: I don’t just want one.
‘When you get up so early, you really need a clear head. I just noticed that even if I drank something on the weekend, it took longer to flush through my body and I just didn’t like that hangxiety feeling. That slightly tense feeling.
‘It had quite a dramatic effect on my weight and I lost quite a lot. Of course you then replace other things with it! White wine is known as liquid cake, it just has so many calories.”
‘I think you should just do it for a month and see what effects it has on your skin and health’
‘If someone has something to celebrate I still raise a glass, at Christmas I still have bubbles. 99.9% of the time I’m alcohol-free.’
Skin expert and Harley Street brand founder Dr Sam Bunting told MailOnline: ‘Alcohol can have a negative effect on the skin in 3 different ways.
‘Firstly, it can dry out the skin, making it look dry and dull and fine lines can appear worse (especially in winter).
‘The next thing is that it increases redness and creates a red, flushed appearance. Over time, it can also increase inflammation, which can cause breakouts and premature aging.
She added: ‘The good news is that a lot of this is reversible if you cut back on the booze. Create a positive cycle of habits by combining Dry January with some simple skincare tips, such as daily sunscreen, a barrier-repairing moisturizer and the wonder ingredient azelaic acid to tackle inflammation and reduce any redness and breakouts. Your shine will be restored by the end of the month.”

Susanna revealed to the Mail in 2019 that she no longer felt ‘hangxiety’ and explained what that meant.
“It was like a buzzy feeling: when you can’t find peace, your body is so excited,” she said.
‘I never drank when I was at work, but on evenings off I would have a few glasses of wine. And Piers and I would have a night out at the Groucho Club in Soho, which was great.”
She continued, “But I haven’t done that since I stopped drinking. Actually, I’m a lot less fun now, as Piers keeps telling me.’
Susanna also talked about the effect being sober had on her love life.
She said: ‘Someone – he will be anonymous – and I were making arrangements for a date.
‘I thought it might be a good way to mention that I don’t drink, because most people like to drink on a date.
“And just like that, he stopped making appointments,” she said. ‘It just ceased to exist. A lot of people just think you won’t have fun on a night out.’
“I don’t care,” she added. “I’m just glad I don’t have to worry about waking up with a headache.”
Susanna has lost two stone since quitting alcohol.
