Gogglebox star reveals she doesn’t own a TV despite appearing on the show for six years
Gogglebox star Helena Worthington has revealed that she “doesn’t own a TV,” despite appearing on the show for six years.
The Channel 4 star, 29, told OK! the surprising update during an interview at the TRIC Awards.
Helena – who appears on the show with her mother Alison and father George – admitted that she “doesn’t really watch television” when she’s not on Gogglebox.
‘I don’t really watch television at home, but I don’t have a TV [Gogglebox is] how do i catch up on what’s going on. I’ll go to my mother’s and use her electricity to watch television,’ she said.
“It’s quite a good performance because you get to sit down and eat and watch television.”

Meanwhile, her mom Alison gushed about her daughter, saying it’s “wonderful” that the family trio gets together every week to watch TV.
‘There’s no escaping it for Helena. She must come and see her father and mother,” said the loving mother.
The family had a great win at the TRIC awards earlier this week, when they won the Entertainment gong.

This year’s TRIC Awards took an unexpected turn on Tuesday, when This Morning lost the daytime gong for the first time in four years after the stars of the scandal hit show avoided the ceremony.
It welcomed a host of Britain’s best-known TV stars to Park Lane’s Grosvenor House on Tuesday, but This Morning presenters avoided the ceremony.
Holly Willoughby previously attended the star-studded awards but skipped this year’s ceremony – even though the show was in for the Daytime award which they eventually lost to A Place In The Sun.
A source told MailOnline that she had “previous commitments” but no doubt she didn’t want to risk an awkward meeting with Eamonn Holmes who attended and expressed his criticism of her following the departure of her co-presenter Phillip Schofield. .

The 63-year-old announcer, who co-hosted This Morning with his wife Ruth Langsford, has not failed to speak out after working for ITV – following Schofield’s admission of an affair with a much younger colleague.
This Morning regulars Vanessa Feltz and Martin Lewis were the only stars of the ITV show to attend on Tuesday.
Eamonn has strongly condemned the ‘toxic’ environment of ITV and their management as the company has been called into question following Phillip’s scandal – claiming he knows ‘the truth’.
The GB News presenter’s comments last month were criticized at a parliamentary hearing, in which ITV bosses Carolyn McCall and Kevin Lygo were questioned by MPs.
In a joke to Eamonn, Mr Lygo claimed that former presenters who took out the channel had made no claims while at ITV.
And, he added, it “wasn’t surprising” to hear such comments.
