Glenn Close and Lin-Manuel Miranda led the stars and former cast members who came to the final performance of The Phantom Of The Opera on Sunday night.
The legendary Broadway play takes its final bow at New York’s Majestic Theater after 35 years, 14,000 performances and an estimated 20 million audience.
Close, 76, looked sensational in her jet black suit with a matching lace top, sheer gloves and a chic clutch.
The 8-time Oscar nominee — who currently stars alongside Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx in their haunted blockbuster Back in Action — rocked a pair of black, leopard-framed designer sunglasses and wore her hair in a short haircut.
A titan of musicals himself, Lin-Manuel Miranda, 43, was sharp in his classic tuxedo as he turned out to honor a Broadway institution.

The Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, which premiered in the US in 1988, first became a sensation in London in 1986, starring Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman.
More than a year later, it moved to Broadway, where it has been seen ever since and reportedly grossed more than $1 billion in ticket sales.
Producer Cameron Mackintosh told Variety, “Over the years, the number of good weeks at the box office started to dwindle.”
He added: “We lost a lot of money in some of the really bad weeks, especially in New York.”
The pandemic would have also added to the financial strain on the show, as Mackintosh admitted, “Margins have shrunk tremendously.”
But the theater impresario believes the show will return in the US, as Phantom has been playing to packed houses since announcing in September that it would close on Broadway.
The Majestic Theater in New York, where the show appears, is undergoing renovation after years of continuous performances.
The London show was relaunched with a smaller orchestra and other design changes in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. It is currently playing at Her Majesty’s Theatre.
