Glen Powell chugs a beer on stage at Luke Combs concert with Twisters co-stars Daisy Edgar-Jones and Anthony Ramos

Glen Powell enjoys his moment of stratospheric fame.

The 35-year-old Top Gun: Maverick star attended Luke Combs’ concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Friday, along with his Twisters co-stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, 26, and Anthony Ramos, 32.

The three actors made a surprise appearance on stage, along with the 34-year-old singer of Fast Car, each holding a can of beer.

A countdown began and all four of them drank their beers through a hole in the side of the can.

When they finished, the three men threw their empty cans of Miller Light onto the stage, with Daisy handing her nearly empty can to Powell for him to drink.

Later, the Love You Anyway singer posted a video on Instagram of the moment with the cast of Twisters.

“Hey Twisters cast, should we shotgun one?!,” he captioned the post.

Combs has his own connection to Twisters: his song Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma is featured on the band’s country music.

Set in Oklahoma’s infamous Tornado Alley, the film is inspired by the 1996 film Twister, starring the late Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt.

According to the film’s logline: “Kate Cooper (Edgar-Jones) is ravaged by a devastating encounter with a tornado and lured back to the open plains by her boyfriend Javi (Ramos) to test a groundbreaking new tracking system.

She soon encounters Tyler Owens (Powell), a charming but reckless social media superstar who likes to post his storm-chasing adventures on the Internet.

‘As storm season gets underway, Kate, Tyler and their competing teams fight for their lives as multiple storm systems converge over central Oklahoma.’

Powell’s latest film adventure is being hailed by critics as the “blockbuster of the summer,” as the tornado film hits theaters nearly 30 years after the original.

The new film, which is neither a sequel nor a reboot, debuted in theaters on July 19.

“It’s definitely not a reboot. We’re not trying to recreate the story of the first installment,” Glen shared with Fashion last year.

“It’s a completely original story. There are no characters from the original film back, so it’s not really a continuation. It’s just a standalone story set in the modern day.”
