The first two secret sets of Glastonbury 2024 were announced on Wednesday, just hours after Worthy Farm opened its gates to thousands of festival goers.
Artist Beans On Toast delighted fans by revealing on Instagram that he would be taking to the Greenspace stage in the afternoon.
The singer – whose real name is Jay McAllister – told his followers he would perform his next album in full.
He wrote: ‘Glastonbury, let’s start with this. Today at 4:30 PM on the @greenpeaceuk stage. I’ll be playing my next album ‘Wild Goose Chasers’ in its entirety.
‘Take your place in the human race. Beans xxx’

Elsewhere, it was revealed that another surprise performer is British rock band Kasabian, who will take to the stage on Saturday at 6pm.
The folk artist started playing in London pubs in 2005 before releasing his debut, Standing on a Chair, in 2009.
Beans On Toast releases its new albums every December 1st and also performs annually at the iconic Glastonbury festival.

Ten years after Serge Pizzorno and the group took to the stages at Worthy Farm, insiders have confirmed they have been booked to play.
A source said: ‘Glastonbury is always a big deal but this year Kasabian really can’t wait, especially as it’s been ten years since they were last there.
‘They loved the idea of being a secret act and jumped on the idea when Glasto boss Emily Eavis suggested it. The set will last one hour.
A number of surprise artists will take to the stage to perform at Worthy Farm over the weekend.
In the past, Glastonbury has featured surprise acts from, among others, The Killers, Radiohead and the Foo Fighters.

Despite the stellar line-up, football fans will be disappointed after organizers confirmed no European Championship matches will be broadcast at the festival, including Sunday’s upcoming England match.
The match against England will clash with headliner SZA’s set on the Pyramid Stage, meaning some football fans may leave before her performance is over.
Before Scotland’s elimination from the competition, festival bosses released a statement saying: ‘In previous years we have tried to show notable matches on big screens wherever possible, especially on days before the main stages open.
‘However, as England and Scotland’s last sixteen matches potentially clash with the headline sets at this year’s festival, the decision has been made that – as in 2014 and 2016 – if England or Scotland qualify from their groups, their last sixteen matches will not be shown. on the festival.’
