A young Mexican woman has learned the hard way that not all love stories have a happy ending.
Kary Santana had spent the past two years chatting online and on the phone with a man from Ohio, who sold her on the dream of spending their lives together.
But the 30-year-old revealed at viral TikTok video – viewed more than two million times – that after flying to Indianapolis last month to spend two weeks with him, it turned out he had a girlfriend all along.
The lovebirds visited a bar and a nightclub, but Santana noticed him acting strangely and disappearing for a long time. When he returned to their hotel room, his cell phone rang non-stop as he slept after a night of heavy drinking.
“I've been here for a week and he's already drunkenly told me that he doesn't want me here, that he misses his ex-girlfriend,” the Mexico City resident said.
