Girl, 13, is lured to beach to be savagely beaten in horrendous bullying attack that was caught on camera

A Canadian teenager was lured to a beach where she filmed herself being brutally beaten by a gang of minors.

The horrific attack was filmed by several bystanders who watched the 13-year-old girl surrounded by bullies at Gyro Beach in Kelowna.

The girl was allegedly lured to the beach by a friend and attacked around 8:30 PM on Friday.

The video shows an attacker jumping on her while holding her hair as she receives multiple blows to the face.

Later in the video, another attacker kicks the 13-year-old in the head, knocking her unconscious. Another male boy started kicking dirt on her limp body.

The crowd cheered during the attack and multiple phones recorded the brutal ambush, with the content later re-shared on social media platforms.

This was said by the girl’s father, Donovan, who did not release his last name to protect his daughter’s identity CTV News Vancouver that he wants criminal charges against his daughter’s attackers.

He told them that at the beginning of the attack, the group took his daughter’s phone and then threw it on her body after knocking her unconscious.

“I watched my daughter being beaten almost to death for two minutes, as if there were twenty or thirty kids who decided it was better for them to stand up and laugh at her.”

Donovan said she was taken to the hospital, where it was revealed she suffered bruised ribs and a concussion, but even worse are the emotional scars.

The father told CTV News Vancouver: “Mentally she has started therapy and I don’t know how long it will ever be before she trusts her or wants to be outside again.”

Kelowna Royal Canadian Mounted Police held a press conference on Wednesday. Sergeant Laura Pollock confirmed that 30 young people were present and recording.

She also confirmed that the attack was targeted.

Pollock said two juveniles tried to intervene. One called the police, the other tried to stop the attack.

Kelowna Royal Canadian Mounted Police Sergeant Laura Pollock said police were able to identify five attackers. On Tuesday, three of the five identified were arrested and released under ‘strict conditions’

Pollock said, “Out of 30-plus people who stood by and watched and shot videos, you showed compassion and made the right decision.”

“We will monitor them to ensure they comply with these conditions and attend future court hearings,” Pollock said.

Pollock pleaded with the public to stop the video being circulated in the Kelowna community.

The identities of the attackers and the victim have not been released because they are minors and are protected by Canada’s Youth Criminal Justice Act and the Privacy Act.

Both laws protect the privacy of young perpetrators, victims and witnesses through publication bans on their identities.
