Giannis Antetokounmpo offers to ‘teach’ Kevin Durant how to ‘run a team’ after Phoenix’s move and has ‘Burger King’ Nikola Jokic sneer… as Greek Freak awkwardly reads scripted NBA insults into a television appearance
Giannis Antetokounmpo shot Phoenix Suns rising star Kevin Durant during his appearance on The Daily Show.
The two-time MVP showed he has more versatility than just playing, or coaching, basketball by adding teleprompter reading to his repertoire, at the expense of Durant and back-to-back MVP Nikola Jokic.
Clearly, Antetokounmpo was reading an embarrassing script in a segment where he roasted Nuggets star Jokic and Durant.
“You keep joining these super teams to win an NBA title,” Antetokounmpo said of the former Golden State Warrior.
‘How about we spar together sometime so I can teach you how to run your own gear?’

As for Jokic, who is on his way to winning a historic third MVP award in a row, the producers decide to shame the Serbian sensation.
“Joker, how you gonna make it through the finals when it looks like you can barely get past a Burger King drive-thru?” Antetokounmpo read from a script.
Obviously uncomfortable after the barbs, the Greek monster followed them up with compliments for both Jokic and Durant.
“Jokic, I love your game,” he said before being interrupted by host Hasan Minaj, who, in an attempt at humor, claimed that Jokic “should be checking IDs outside a hookah bar” instead of playing basketball.
‘KD, you are one of the best scorers to ever play this game. I respect your game, you have led by example for 15 years.
You were my favorite player growing up. I’m sorry,” Antetokounmpo added after the written insult.
The 28-year-old was then asked to read another written affront, this time about LeBron James, but declined.
‘LeBron, I love your game, man. You are The King for a reason, goat. He just broke the all-time scoring record.
Keep doing what you’re doing, man. He’s a model, you’re a model, man.
Giannis Antetokounmpo seemed quite uncomfortable as he went through the script.
Nikola Jokic has won back-to-back MVPs and is on pace to win a historic three in a row.
