Ghosts star Danielle Pinnock gets dream wedding do-over after first marrying in hospital ICU

Danielle Pinnock, 34, and husband Jack Wallace celebrated 10 years of marriage by renewing their vows.

The couple didn’t get the wedding of their dreams the first time around because her mother Joan suffered a stroke the night before the wedding in 2013.

Instead of their 350-person wedding, the couple got married in the ICU of a New Jersey hospital with the Ghosts star donning her wedding dress to get married at her mother’s bedside, which was Jack’s idea.

“I am so grateful to be married to the man I married because even in horrible situations and stressful situations, he has always been calm,” she shared. People. “He’s just always been steadfast.”

Jack was like, ‘You know what? We’re getting married here.’ And I was like ‘In ICU?’ He was like, ‘It’s okay. We’re just going to spin.’ So I was like, “Okay.”

For the renewal of their vows, Joan walked her daughter down the aisle to Bob Marley’s Is This Love.

“It feels like all our dreams have come true in these ten years,” said the Young Sheldon star. “My mother is alive and well.”

“We’re trying to find ways, in this vow renewal, to do it over,” she said. “It won’t be as extravagant as the last one. But we wanted it to feel intimate. We wanted it to be the celebration not only of my mother’s life, but of all the hardships we’ve been through over the past three years with the pandemic.” =

She added, “And I’m like, ‘If we can get through this, we can really make it through anything.’ And so it was my greatest honor, to be married to my husband, to have his family. Our families, they love each other. This man is the bomb. He’s been my biggest supporter.’
