Gerard Piqué was asked on a Spanish radio show if he had heard his ex Shakira’s famous song about their bitter breakup.
The footballer was making an appearance on RAC1 when he was asked about Shakira’s No.1 TQG track which includes scathing lyrics about his ex and his new girlfriend.
Shakira makes it clear that she is referring to Clara Chia, 23, who Gerard is rumored to have started dating last year before they split, saying: “I’m worth two 22s.” You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo. You traded a Rolex for a Casio.
In his appearance this week on the RAC1 program El món, Gerard was asked if he had heard the song, reports Marca.com.

“Yes, obviously,” replied the ex-footballer, before adding: “I don’t want to talk about it.”
Referring to the two children he shares with Shakira, he continued: ‘We have a responsibility, those of us who are parents must protect our children. Everyone makes their decisions. I don’t feel like talking anymore. I just want my kids to be okay.
“I have always had a close relationship with my children. Nothing makes me happier than making my son happy.
‘Everyone makes the decisions they think are the best. I do things a certain way, I try to do it in the best way. I am very happy.
On Friday night, Shakira looked sensational in a daring leather ensemble while performing her No.1 hit song TQG on The Tonight Show in New York City.
The 46-year-old Colombian beauty sang the song, which contains multiple references to her former soccer player Gerard Piqué, 36, from whom she split last June after 11 years together.
Shakira told host Jimmy Fallon that the diss track has been “a healthy way to channel her emotions”, while noting that she had to “put up with so much shit”.
And the next day, superstar singer Adele, 43, gave Gerard a word of warning after seeing his ex Shakira perform live for the first time since 2020.
Speaking to fans in the audience at her Las Vegas residency, the Hello hitmaker laughed as she joked, “I saw her performance last night at Jimmy Fallon.” Oh, her ex-husband is in trouble.

Making a huge revenge comeback, Shakira had donned a pair of leather chaps while showing off her figure in a black mesh bodysuit.
The age-defying star appeared on the show with Bizarrap, chatting with host Jimmy Fallon about their new joint pitch and referencing their recent split.
Speaking on the show, she explained that the song has been “a healthy way to channel my emotions”, adding that she had to “put up with so much shit”.
The new hit has been dubbed a ‘diss’ track for Shakira’s ex Gerard, with whom she shares two children and with whom she split after he allegedly cheated on her during their relationship.
Referencing the breakup for the first time on TV, he shared: ‘It’s been amazing to get the reaction from so many people. I think people really connect with music when it’s real and genuine, it comes from a real place.
“The thing about this song is that it has become an anthem for many women.
“I’ve had a very tough year after our split and writing this song has been very important to me. It has been a healthy way of channeling my emotions.
She concluded, “I feel like after I put this song out, I felt like I not only had fans, but a sisterhood of women who have been through the same things, who think like I think, feel like I feel, and had to put up with so much shit, like I had to do it.
Oh! On Saturday, Adele, 43, warned Gerard after seeing her Shakira perform live for the first time since 2020.
