TrakCare EMR Supports Bali International Hospital
The soon-to-open Bali International Hospital will use InterSystems’ TrakCare EMR.
The operator, PT Pertamedika Bali Hospital, recently partnered with T-Systems to implement the digital medical record, which will enable faster access to patient data at the new 255-bed hospital.
According to a press release, the EMR integration will be completed by the hospital’s official opening, scheduled for next month in September.
National Health Authority focuses on digital health education
India’s National Health Authority has partnered with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences to build the digital health capacity of India’s healthcare workforce.
According to their MoU, NHA will offer MUHS’s Digital Health Foundation course to medical students, physicians and other healthcare professionals through the iGOT Karmayogi online learning platform for public sector employees. The course will provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of digital health.
Both sides will jointly develop more digital health programmes to advance the rollout of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, a national initiative that will lay the foundation for India’s digital health ecosystem.
Virtus Fertility Centre Singapore uses AI in IVF process
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is now a standard treatment at Virtus Fertility Centre Singapore, helping to identify the most viable embryo in the in vitro fertilisation (IVF) process.
The clinic has adopted an AI technology called iDAScore, developed by the parent company’s scientists. Virtus Health In Australia, they developed it together with global AI partners Harrison.ai and the Swedish company Vitrolife.
It is used to analyze extensive time-lapse image data to identify and assess the embryos with the highest potential for forming a fetal heart.
