Furious Scottie Scheffler F-bomb heard on live TV as PGA Tour star loses his cool after wayward shot

Scottie Scheffler was furious after a botched shot during Friday’s PGA Tour event in Denver. Television microphones captured the world’s best golfer as he began an angry tirade.

Scheffler dropped an f-bomb on the course after two terrible attempts on the 10th hole of the BMW Championship, the first of which flew straight into the water.

And when his next shot failed, the two-time Masters champion and Olympic gold medalist cleared the red mist and burst into a curse on live television.

First he asked caddie Ted Scott, “Isn’t that a slope? Really?”

Scheffler then raged: ‘How is that possible? How? HOW?! How is that possible? What the f**k?’

When Scheffler got to the hole, he couldn’t turn the tide. It took him three more shots to find the cup and he made a double bogey.

However, he eventually recovered and finished the round with a score of 72, which puts him in 29th place on the scoreboard.

The crisis in Denver was not the first time that Scheffler has attacked the course recently.

Just last week, he vented his frustrations after making an embarrassing shot in his first PGA Tour event since winning an Olympic gold medal in Paris this summer.

At TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee, Scheffler’s tee shot on the 13th found a bunker 185 yards from the pin. His second shot missed the green and suffered a similar sandy fate.

When the 28-year-old tried to get the ball out of the trap to the right of the green, he hit over the pin and his ball came to rest 4 metres from the hole.

Although his shot reached the dance floor safely and gave him a good chance at a par save, he was less than impressed.

Scheffler slammed his club into the bunker before the ball could even land properly, then kicked the sand furiously to cover his tracks and shook his head in disgust.

As he emerged from the sand trap, he took one last swing at the ground with his club before walking away.
