Carol Vorderman gave fans an update on her health on Saturday as she battles the flu.

The 61-year-old presenter said in a video that she is “still full of cold” and had to withdraw from her radio show at the weekend, but is feeling a little better.

Carol said she finally got up and put on her makeup for the first time in days and went for a walk to get some fresh air, dressed in skintight leather pants.

‘I’m still full of cold and I can’t sing! I laughed this morning with [daughter] Katie, anyway, just to say I won’t be on the Radio Wales show,’ she began in a clip, between coughs.

“I have not washed my hair yet but I have put on makeup that is hiding a multitude of pains and things… good Saturday,” he added.

She was also seen posing for a mirror selfie in her skintight leather pants and, in a video, she was seen kicking leaves in a park after receiving a small energy blast.

Carol captioned her Instagram post: “Found a kid to drag and babysit me on a quick ride…Katie was that lucky girl.”

It comes after Carol was forced to pull out of her scheduled appearance on This Morning on Friday.

Sharing with her fans how she feels in an Instagram video, Carol admitted that she felt “rough” before going into a coughing fit.

Speaking to the camera, Carol, wearing no make-up and wearing a white coat, said: “Well, I’ve had the flu for four days.” Oh god, I feel hard.

I see. However, I haven’t brushed my hair in four days, so please excuse that. Anyway, thanks for all your lovely messages.

She continued: ‘Sorry I won’t be on This Morning this morning.

I was also looking forward to it. Date hunters! Hey, better be soon. I need a cup of tea.

Before falling ill, Carol showed her support for the Welsh rugby team ahead of their clash against Australia on Saturday.
