Bobby is the son of TV star Jade Goody who rose to fame overnight in 2002 as a Big Brother housemate.

Jade gave birth to Bobby in June 2003, a year after she left home.

The media personality, who was dating Jeff Brazier at the time, welcomed the couple’s second child, Freddie, the following year.

Jade was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August 2008, while the following month it was reported that her cancer was “advanced and life-threatening.”

The star chose not to tell her sons, then five and four years old, about her illness.

Jade died in her sleep in the early hours of March 22, 2009, at the age of 27, with neither Bobby nor his brother Freddie attending the funeral.
