A woman in her 50s has died after a massive 20-meter tree limb crashed into her vehicle as she was driving on a country road.
The motorist was driving a pickup truck westbound along Illawarra Road near Burrawang in the southern New South Wales Highlands on Saturday afternoon when the branch struck his windscreen, a witness said.
The driver who has yet to be formally identified died at the scene of the tragic accident.

Hume Police District officers established a crime scene and began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
