Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 Medallion Guide

Medallions An item has been added Fortnite from Chapter 5 Season 1, but as the seasons have progressed they have changed. These buffing items are tricky to grab and are repeatedly highlighted on the map, whether that’s via an image of the emblem or a huge gold circle.

Below we explain what medallions do and what they do where you can find them Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3.

What are medallions?

Medallions are boss drops that buff you in different ways. Into the medallions Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 is as follows:

  • The engineer’s medallion regenerates the shield over time.
  • Ringmaster Scarr’s medallion gives infinite ammo and a small damage buff.
  • Megalo Don’s medallion gives infinite nitro.

Medallions don’t take up any inventory space because they have their own compartment in your bag (like gold does).

You can also use medallions to enter vaults where the respective boss’s car is located, if the boss has appeared at his respective point of interest.

Where to find medallions in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3

You can see the medallions straight up on the map. At the start of the game, the location of all three medallions is marked on the map.

The bosses are located at the set point of interest or drive around the map in a convoy. You can see their medallion icon moving on the map. The set locations are as follows:

Once you get on the battle bus, the bosses’ emblems should appear on your map. If The engineer And Megalo Don are not in their respective POIs, they drive around in an Envoy with a battle bus and souped-up cars surrounding them. Ringmaster Scarr requires you to enter the Nitrodome for a certain amount of time before she shows up to fight. You can also drive a vehicle through blue rings to shorten the time it takes to stay in the Nitrodome.

To get the medallion you will need that eliminate the boss NPC holding it. If the boss you take out is at his POI, you can steal his specialized ride from a locked garage. (Just like key cards point you to the safe, the locket points you to where the car is.)

Unlike other NPCs, which are quite easy to drop and eliminate immediately, these NPCs all have respawning lackeys that will shoot at you as soon as they see you. That said, it may be easier to loot around the mentioned locations and then head inside to obtain a medallion.

Fortunately, the NPCs shoot like Star Wars Storm Troopers (which means their aim is very poor), so you don’t have to worry too many about the lackeys. Focus on the boss with a decent gun and you should be able to get a medallion. Keep in mind that the boss will replenish its shield frequently, making it an annoying target.

If you see an orange or gold circle on the map, it means that a player in that area also has a medallion. You can eliminate that player to get his medallion.
