Former One Direction star Liam asked his friend Hadley Anne: ‘What am I supposed to do with it? Am I meant to look sexy, like…?’ while he struck a series of poses for the camera.

His friend Hadley suggested that he sing a song, to which Liam confessed: ‘I can’t do it. It has never been good.

The singer, who went viral when he spoke with a weird Irish-American accent at this year’s Oscars, decided to speak with an American accent once again during a karaoke night.

In a series of videos posted to Liam’s Stories, the One Direction star tried his hand at a southern accent and added a few of Elvis’s ‘uha-uha’ for good measure.

Liam panned the camera at the partygoers singing David Allan Coe’s You Never Even Called Me By My Name, before continuing with the lyrics in an American accent.

He joked: “I do accents too…it’s that time of night but it’s Christmas.”

The exchange left viewers scratching their heads as he debuted a touch of ‘valley’, before admitting that he hadn’t even been on American soil for two years.

In a video posted to Twitter just six days earlier, to promote Unicef’s Soccer Aid, the Night Changes hitmaker spoke with a noticeably British accent.

The singer later admitted that he had “a lot to drink” the night of his now-famous interview with Good Morning Britain, where he defended his friend Will, 53, for slapping Chris Rock.

He described himself as a “social chameleon” and said his accent is “constantly changing” depending on who is around, before insisting that he is normally “good with accents”.

‘No, I mean, what can I say about that really? It was pretty fun.

The former One Direction star admitted that he had told the presenter not to ask him difficult questions because he “had too much to drink” as his friends could be heard laughing in the background.

He explained: “I had asked Good Morning Britain, the presenter, and I said, ‘Please don’t ask me too much because I’ve had a lot to drink and I’m not well informed about the Oscars.'” I said “please don’t ask me too much”.
